Barbara Walters Visits Bergen, 6/11

Television icon Barbara Walters, now a celebrated author, will sit for a public conversation with Bergen Community College president Dr. G Jeremiah Ryan on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the College’s gymnasium, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, N.J. The pair will discuss Walters’s No. 1 bestseller, Audition: A Memoir. Project Literacy U.S. of Bergen County has partnered with the College to arrange this unique dialogue.

Walters, a beloved television veteran and master interviewer whose credits include Today, The View and 20/20, will have the tables turned on her at Bergen when President Ryan “asks the tough questions.” Expected topics include anecdotes from Walters’s Audition: A Memoir, a book that has taken the country by storm with its tales from her professional career and unexpected personal revelations.

Project Literacy U.S. of Bergen County is dedicated to promoting adult literacy and increasing the literacy skills of adults in Bergen County and the surrounding area. Project Literacy of Bergen County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
