Biography: Dr. Fitzpatrick came to Bergen in 2003, following the sale of her Biotechnology company Serex to Nymox Pharmaceuticals. She has just been issued European Patent # 06115298.9-2401, preferred segments of neural thread protein and methods of using the same. The patent concerns use of neural thread protein in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease.

What have you learned from your students?:There are many, many ways of looking at things. Every extra view you are able to share with someone enriches you.
