New Pathways to Teaching Tuition

You may take New Pathways to Teaching for either Graduate Credit or Non-Credit.  If taken for graduate credit, the credits may used towards a Master of Arts degree in Education at New Jersey City University.  Click on Masters programs at NJCU. Whether you take New Pathways for graduate credit or non-credit, you still obtain the necessary coursework to receive teacher certification in the state of New Jersey. Tuition is due at the time of registration.

Stage I - Graduate Credit (4 credits) - $2,830 + $25 Transcript Fee

Stage II - Graduate Credit (11 credits) - $5, 660

Stage II - Graduate Credti (11 credits) for students with Elementary or Elementary with Subject Area CE - $8,750(Includes 45 Hrs. of Literacy and Math Instruction during Stage II - New NJDOE Requirement; $1,545/Literacy -3 credits & $1,545/Math - 3 credits)

Stage I - Certification Only (non-credit) - $1,300

Stage II - Certification Only (non-credit) - $2,350

Stage II- Certification Only (non-credit) for students with Elementary or Elementary with Subject Area CE - $3,950(Includes 45 Hrs. of Literacy & Math Instruction during Stage II - New NJDOE Requirement; $800/Literacy & $800/Math)
